Rachnadevi, also known as Ratnadevi or Ratnavati (Sanskrit: रचनादेवी), was a queen of the Gupta Dynasty and the wife of King Shrigupta. It is said that she married him during his career and work. She is the mother of Ghatotkacha and the grandmother of Chandragupta I.[lower-alpha 1]. She is considered as the first queen of Gupta Dynasty[1]. The wife of Shrigupta is unnamed in History but some people name her Rachnadevi. She was married to Shrigupta and the couple had a son, named Ghatotkacha.[2][3][4]
