Plot[edit]

Radha Krishna's Love Saga[edit]

(The Portion Which is Dubbed in Bengali)[edit]

The series opens with Krishna (Krishn)'s (Lord Vishnu's manifestation as God of love who resides in Goloka) devotee Sridama, cursing Radha (Goddess Lakshmi's manifestation as Goddess of love who resides in Goloka) that she will spend 100 years outside their celestial home and will forget Krishna. Although Sridama is guilty of his actions, he comes to understand that all this was part of the cosmic play as it was time for Krishna to make his entry into the mortal world. Radha and Krishna are reborn in Barsana, Vrindavan and Mathura respectively. Vasudev (Krishna's biological father) switches him at birth with Nand and Yashoda's daughter. Krishna lives the life of an ordinary human with extraordinary powers.

Kansa (Kamsa) attacks Gokul knowing that Krishna lives there as he believes that Krishna is destined to kill him. Therefore, Nand writes a letter to his friend Vrishabhan (Radha's father) to let Gokul people stay at Barsana ensuring everyone's safety. Meanwhile, Ayan (Rayana) (Radha's childhood friend) likes Radha and plots to separate them. Radha grows close to Krishna and finally, Krishna confesses his love for Radha. Vrishabhan feels heartbroken knowing about Radha and Krishna as once Radha promised that she will marry the groom her father has chosen. He ends his friendship with Nand and fixes Radha's wedding with Vyomasura in the guise of Vyomesh. (In fact he is a monster/demon). Balaram and Krishna are accused of attempting to kill Ayan and Vyomesh and are banished from Barsana. Krishna defeats Vyomasura and reunites Nand and Vrishabhan.

Krishna takes Radha out of all humanly weaknesses like bhay (fear), moh (greed), krodh (anger), ghrina (hatred), irshya (envy/jealousy), ahankar (pride/arrogance) and heenbhavna (lack of self-confidence). Radha comes closer to Krishna after defeating each human weakness. In the greatest example of sacrifice (tyaag), the essence of true love, Radha-Krishna could not marry, even after being ardent lovers rather Radha is forced to marry her childhood friend, Ayan. However, this Marriage is an Illusion created by Radha as she can't marry anyone exept Krishna as she is Incarnation of Lakshmi. Finally, Radha understands the true meaning of love in the last stage of dedication and compliance (samarpan), which she understands after listening the story of seven avatars of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi from Krishna. The love of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, how they got separated each time for the betterment of the universe and to teach love to the world and how they got united after each avatar. Radha also understands that her marriage is fake and eternally, she is Krishna's consort after Lord Brahma completes Brahma Vivaah of Radha and Krishna in Golok, just before Krishna leaves Barsana after Radha's coronation as Radharani.

Krishna also performs other miraculous activities like Yashoda witnessing the universe in his mouth, Nalkuber, and Manigreeva Shaap Vimochan, Kaliya Naga Mardana and Govardhan Leela. The story also focuses on the establishment of Vrindavan, Radha Kund and Shyam Kund, Keshi Ghat, Prem Sarovara, Nidhivan, Moti Kund, Kusum Sarovara, Adher Ghat, and Yugal Ghat along with many other unheard stories about Radha-Krishna. He performs Raslila with Radha and other Gopis.

In this human life, apart from his love story with Radha, Krishna, along with Balaram, fights the demons sent by Kamsa, his cruel maternal uncle (who kept Krishna's original parents in Mathura's prison) like Putana, Trinavarta (the whirlwind demon), Bakasura, Aghasura (the snake demon), Vyomasura (the bat demon), Arishtasura (the bull demon), Dhumrasura, Makradikasura, Keshi (the horse demon), Timirasura, Shankhchur, Karkashasura, Ekdamsha, Jwalantak, Sudarshana, demoness and enchantress Sammohana, Dhenukasura (the ass demon) and Pralamba (Pralambasura). In the end, he sends his eight demon brothers to defeat Radha-Krishna but they also get defeated by Radha with her Ashtalakshmi forms. Kansa also pits the likes of Shiva, Mahakali, Indra, Shukracharya, Yamuna, Kāla, Durvasa, Ashtavakra, Mahamaya and even Halahala poison against Krishna and at some times Radha but all in vain.

Killing Kamsa (Kamsa Vadha)[edit]

Finally, Kamsa calls Krishna and Balarama to Mathura, where he tries to have them killed by his elephant Kuvalayapida and his wrestlers, but all in vain. Balarama kills Kamsa's eight brothers, whereas Krishna kills Kamsa. His biological parents Vasudeva and Devaki are freed from prison and Kamsa's imprisoned father Ugrasen is crowned king.

The Establishment of Dwaraka[edit]

The show also focuses on the establishment of Dwarka – the Yadavas' new home after Jarasandha's continuous attacks even after being defeated, cause losses to Mathura. Balarama marries Revati (Jyotishmati in her earlier life, who love Balarama as sheshnaaga), the daughter of Kakudmi, the king of Kusasthali. Vidarbha princess Rukmini sends a letter to Radha, as she wants Radha to convey her message to Krishn, so that he'll come quicker due to his sarvapriya sakhi's insistence. Krishn meets Radha and asks for her permission to marry Rukmini, to which Radha agrees. Rukmini and Krishn marry, but Rukmini keeps competing with Radha constantly. Finally, on Holi, Radha makes her realize the true meaning of Krishnprem.

Killing Narakasura and Mura[edit]

Krishna also marries Satrajit's daughter Satyabhama and Jambavan's daughter Jambavati. He then kills the evil Naraka (Narakasura) and his general Mura.

Mahabharata War (Krishna and Arjuna Saga or Krishn Arjun Gatha)[edit]

The show then focuses on the story of Mahabharata. Balarama informs Krishna about their cousins, the PandavasYudhishthir, Bheem (or Bhimsen), Arjun, Nakul and Sahdev and their mother Kunti who have escaped Lakshagriha which was organised by their evil cousins – the Kauravas, Duryodhan, his brother Dushasan, their uncle Shakuni and Duryodhan's friend Karna. He helps Panchala king Drupada arrange a Swayamvara for his daughter Draupadi, who was born from a yagya (Yajna means sacrificial fire). The third Pandava prince Arjuna wins Draupadi's swayamvara and marries her, however circumstances force Draupadi to marry all five Pandavas. Pandavas receive a new kingdom Indraprastha after defeating 'Vishadhar Bhujang Takshak' or Nagraj Takshak in Khandavprastha land, that kingdom is faraway from Hastinapura (the Pandavas' original home) due to the conflict with the Kauravas – eldest of whom is Duryodhan.

Arjuna soon abducts and marries Krishna's sister Subhadra, whereas Krishna kills Pundra king Paundrak Vasudev, an impostor who looks similarly like Krishna. The second Pandava Bheem also kills Magadha king Jarasandha. Pandavas soon perform Rajasuya Yagna where they gain supremacy over all of Aryavarta, however Krishna's cousin Shishupala interrupts the ceremony, only to be killed by Krishna.

Duryodhana organises a dice game with Shakuni wherein Pandavas lose all their wealth and are humiliated, while Krishna saves Draupadi from getting disrobed in the court by Duryodhan's Order to Dushasana. At the court Bhima takes a vow that he will kill all the 100 Kauravas. However, the Pandavas and Draupadi are exiled for 13 years. When they return, their rights are refused and hence starts the Kurukshetra War, where Arjuna receives from Krishna, the knowledge of Bhagvad Gita. Arjuna kills his grandfather Bhishma and his archrival Karna, Dhrishtadyumna kills the both Pandavas and Kauravas' tutor Dronacharya, Sahadeva kills Shakuni, whereas Bhima kills all the 100 Kauravas, with the war ending with the death of the last one – Duryodhana.

(The Portion Which Has not Been Dubbed in Bengali Yet)[edit]

Gandhari curses Krishna that just like her family destroyed, Yadava dynasty will also be destroyed. On the other hand, Radha and Krishna turn Ayan into a better person, and make him realise that they are eternal consorts, destined to be.

The Aftermath[edit]

Radha and Krishna return to Dwaraka and Krishna reunites with his family. Krishna and Rukmini consummate their Marriage. Rukmini Becomes Pregnant and gives birth to their son Pradyumna. Pradyumna returns to Dwaraka after suppressing unrest in Vidarbha. Pradyumna marries Vidarbha king Rukmi's daughter Rukmavati, and soon a son Aniruddha is born to them. To Jambavati and Krishna, a son Samba (Sambh) is born to her through the blessings of Lord Shiva because Jambavati was Sad that She and Krishna Never Had a Child Like other Wives , Sambh, termed to be the reason for the Yadava destruction as cursed by Gandhari. Samba grows up to be short-tempered but loves his family, especially his mother, however, dislikes and hates Radha.

Aniruddha and Usha's Marriage[edit]

After 100 years of separation, Radha comes to Dwarka, which Angers Samba later on, Samba, Aniruddha and Balarama's sons Nishatha and Ulmuka are soon sent to Gurukula along with Radha, and return some years later, as teens. Aniruddha is kept in captivity at Shonitapura, the kingdom of asura king, Bana or Banasura, by his daughter Usha. This soon results in a war between Krishna and Banasura, wherein Shiva has to fight for Banasura due to his boon, resulting in a faceoff between Krishna and Shiva. Krishna defeats Shiva and punishes Banasura for kidnapping his grandson. Soon, Aniruddha is married to Usha while Samba is married to Hastinapur's Kaurava princess, Duryodhana and Bhanumati's Daughter Lakshmanaa. As Samba had previously joined hands with Bana, he is cursed with leprosy by Krishna and Radha cures him. Soon, during Aniruddha and Usha's marriage ceremony, Rukmi plays a dice game with Balarama, where he cheats and is killed by Balarama. Later everyone blamed Radha for curing Samba.

Radha's Memory Loss[edit]

After a few instances, Radha loses her memory, everything about her Krishna, Dwarka and others. She decides to leave dwaraka. Radha decides to stay in his ashram. Krishna along with Samba, Jambavati and his wife leaves Dwaraka to meet Radha at sage Adiyogi's ashram. To win over Pataal Loka Krishna makes three friends in Patal Loka namely Sheshnaag, Vasuki and Garuda. Together they succeed and Krishna promises Bali that he would be the next king of Swargloka. But since the yagya had been already practiced, Krishna is accused of the sin of giving Indra the throne of heaven (Swarg) and not Bali who is much more deserving. Thus Krishna announces his death as the punishment of his sin. This greatly upsets Radha who asks for a boon from Saraswati Devi on Vasant Panchami. Radha asks for her death before Krishna's death. Though unwillingly, but bound to her duties Maa Saraswati grants Radha her boon which leaves Krishna heartbroken.

Now it is being shown that Radha becomes very excited for Holi and Saambh gets insulted in front of many girls by being pushed into water dyed in different colors. In anger, he challenges Radha. On the other side, Krishna gets angry with Radha on her statement of not playing Holi after Sambh's challenge to her. Krishna also tells Radha that it was going to be their last Holi on earth. Later, Shri Radha thought of an idea that she will rang Krishna with colours that she will make with her own hands with 5 vastus of Krishna and Radha, but, when Sambh knew about this, he burned it all to fire and the colours that came from the "vastus" was bhasm. When Radha applied bhasm to Shri Krishna, She was taken to a place where Krishna helped Radha realise her mistake. After that, Radha and Krishna played the most magnificent holi that Dwarka has ever seen.

Tulsi and Shankhchuda's Story[edit]

Then Parvati wants to learn dance from Krishna and Radha and the whole universe wants to see Krishna's dance. While dancing, Shankhchuda (Shankhchur) (rebirth of Sridama) comes near Krishna and watches him from a safe distance and Krishna gets angry on himself and starts doing Vibhatsya Raas. After many pleadings from Radha and Lord Shiva, Krishna calms down after Shankhchuda leaves. He then locks himself in his room for some days and Radha awaits him outside his room. Shankhchuda has a loving wife, Tulsi, who is his strength but he only uses her. With the help of Tulsi, Shankhchuda got immense strength. Radha in the disguise of Madhavi, goes to Tulsi to tell her what love is. Krishna takes the form of Shankhchuda and goes to Tulsi to defeat Shankhchuda. After Shankhchuda is killed, Tulsi feels cheated. She curses Krishna to become a stone. Krishna becomes a stone and Radha leaves everything and lives in a Rudra temple near Dwarka. She makes an idol thinking of Krishna in it. She promises Tulsi that if she frees Krishna, she will leave Krishna, but Tulsi refuses. Soon, the statue gets lost. The statue looked very real. It used to blink its eyes or smile. When Radha finally finds the statue, it turns into a living being, who introduces himself as 'Banke Bihari'. Lord Shiva introduces Banke Bihari as a Virat Swaroop of Krishna, who will be remembered as the most loving form (Roop) of Krishna. Banke helps Radha in finding the statue and recurring Krishna. Sambh and Lakshmanaa accuses Radha to be mentally ill, and later asks her to leave Dwarka and go to the Ashram for cure. When Radha reaches the Ashram an asura named Dantavakra kidnaps her and takes her to Patal Loga. Later Balram comes to Radha's rescue but in vain. Tulsi remembers her past and takes back her curse. But to do this she needs to change her form into a plant. She then marry Krishna in this form and is told to remain on earth in that swaroop. This displays Tulsi Vivaha. Krishna then returns, slays Dantavakra and save Radha and all the Dwarkavasi celebrates on Krishna's return.

Hanuman's Story[edit]

Later Radha declares herself as the biggest devotee (Bhakt), which invokes Hanuman. Hanuman gets furious as he is the biggest devotee. He decides to go to Dwarka. On the way, he meets Krishna's mount (Vahana) Garud. Garud gets furious when Hanuman praises Ram. In ego, he challenges Hanuman for a race. Meanwhile, Krishna tells Radha and Balram that a very important guest is coming to Dwarka. Hanuman remembers Ram in his prays and requests him to come before him. Krishna finally decides to meet his devotee Hanuman and takes Ram avatar to meet him. Hanuman gets mesmerized to see his Lord Ram. Radha prepares a feast for Hanuman to welcome him to Dwarka. Hanuman relishes the feast prepared by Radha and gets happy. While Balaram and Radha search for him, he decides to meet Radha and thank her. Hanuman introduces himself to Radha. However, the latter gets shocked to see a giant vanara. She shouts for Krishna’s help. Hanuman and Radha again meet each other and decides to challenge. Radha asks Hanuman to prove that he is the universe’s biggest devotee. Hanuman challenges that all Dwarka citizens will chant Jai Sri Ram soon. However, Radha challenges that citizens and Hanuman will chant Jai Sri Krishna. Meanwhile, Krishna thinks he will enjoy the battle of devotion. In the first round, Hanuman proved that he is the biggest devotee. But Radha also proved that she is the biggest devotee. Neither Hanuman nor Radha was defeated but they were on the same level and Radha says that they will test their devotion the next day. Later, Hanuman decides to take Mahadev (Shiva)’s help to learn about Radha’s secrets. However, Parvati orders Mahadev to not help Hanuman. Mahadev meets Hanuman, who asks Mahadev for his help. However, he shares his dilemma and tells Hanuman that Radha has a superpower but he is not aware of it. Hanuman thinks about the same and wonders about Radha’s superpower. He decides to find the same. Samba takes Lakshmana to a cave and says he will create problems for Krishna and the whole of Dwarka. Lakshmana asks whom did they come to meet here. Samba says a powerful person is needed against Hanuman, people will blame Radha for winning by trick. Lakshmana asks who is that powerful person. Sambh says Mahadev bhakt Karmaphal Daata Shani. Laxmana says Shani dev’s Vakradrishti is on him, so he shouldn’t provoke Shani. He says he wants to take revenge on Krishna and Radha knows who will seek Shani’s help. Shani warns Hanuman for challenging Radha and orders to leave Dwarka. However, Hanuman refuses to leave and gets ready to fight a battle with Shani and he defeated him as well as he beat Samba. Afterwards, Radha doubts Hanuman will have empathy but she was proven wrong when she saw Hanuman cared and nursed Shani back to health. Later Hanuman realizes that Shri Krishn is Shri Ram through krishna's RamKrishn Swaroop. He also realises that Dau Balram is Dau Laxman and Devi Radha is Devi Sita. Krishn builds a temple for Hanuman in Dwaraka. Hanuman leaves Dwaraka.

Alakshmi's Story[edit]

Then the highpoint of the show brings to light the story of Goddess Alakshmi the elder sister of Goddess Lakshmi who is deemed to be the harbinger of misfortune and poverty. It is believed that Alaxmi was born during 'The Churning of the Milky Ocean' or the Samudra Manthan. And hence, she is the elderly twin sister of Maa Laxmi. She as the goddess of inauspiciousness and grief is the opposite of Lakshmi who is the goddess of auspiciousness and joy...So far, the residents of Dwarka are stunned when Alakshmi wreaks havoc using black magic and Balram with Sambh and his team were confused her as Radha as Alaxmi looks similarly like Radha. After that, Krishna narrates the story of Alakshmi's past to Mahadev. Meanwhile, Radha offers to help the injured Dwarka citizens. However, they blame her for everything. Radha gets upset. Alakshmi sees her pain. Later, she summons her demon ally Jwarasura and orders him to make the citizens of Dwarka sick and make Radha to be blamed. When the citizen's health deteriorates, Radha goes to Mahadev and Gauri and asks for their help. Due to Radha's prayer, Devi Gauri (Parvati) transfers her power to Radha and Radha turns into Sheetala Devi sitting on a donkey who can calm down any illness. Sheetala Devi then slays Jwarasura...Krishna also invites Alakshmi to Dwarka after her challenge to Krishna. When Alakshmi and Radha comes face to face, Radha gets shocked and asks who she is, as she looks similarly like Radha. Alakshmi said that her name is Jyeshtha, she lives in a far away village and came here to attend the worship of Goddess Sheetala. Later, Alakshmi plans to spread greed in Dwarka and destroy Dhanalakshmi. On the other hand, Sambh joins hands with Alakshmi in her evil plan. Alakshmi’s evil intentions affect everyone and ignite greed in them. Meanwhile, Radha confesses her selfless love for Krishna. Alakshmi says with Jambavati’s greed, she will bring poverty in Dwarka which will destroy Radha’s avatar Dhanalakshmi. After that, Krishna tells the story of Dhanalakshmi to all the citizens of Dwarka and Radha plays a game to make Jambavati understand the meaning of Dhana Lakshmi. Later, they make a devotional call to Lakshmi. Meanwhile, Alakshmi gets angry with Radha, and hence she thinks that this time she will do something nasty which will put Radha in new trouble. She informs Sambh that this time Krishna won’t be able to save her. Later, Alakshmi plans to destroy Radha's avatar Dhanyalakshmi. So, Alaxmi takes the form of Radha invites guru Sandipani and his sages. When they enters to Dwarka Alakshmi serves juice to guru Sandipani and his team. However, they hate it. Alakshmi puts an act and plays Radha’s role behind all this. Sandipani gets angry and tells Radha deserves his curse. But then Alakshmi acted as if she is trying to protect Radha and told Rishi Sandipani that she had prepared the pudding (Kheer) herself with the method told by Radha. Sandipani says she deserves her curse. To pacify the angry sages, Krishna recited the Blessed Lakshmi Katha. Later, the sage seeks forgiveness from Dhanya Lakshmi on Radha's request. He blesses Radha as she wins over his heart after serving her delicious food. Now, in the next episode, when Krishna starts narrating a story on Vidyalakshmi, Alakshmi creates hurdles. Alakshmi darkens Krishna's flute (Bansuri) with her evil vision. Dwarka citizens are stunned because Krishna does not remember how to play the flute. Later, Radha decides to praise Vidyalakshmi so that Krishna is freed from Vidyalakshmi's wrath. Soon, she begins her mediation. However, Alakshmi causes another trouble as she erases Radha's memory. Radha forgets Krishna which shocks him. But she soon regains her memory with the help of Devi Saraswati and Krishn. Later, Alakshmi turns full moon night into darkness. Soon, Dwarka citizens start falling ill. Radha gets worried for all and tells Krishna that she cannot see Dwarka people in pain and hence she makes a big decision to get Krishna married to Alakshmi. Krishna comes to meet Alakshmi who gets happy with her victory. However, Radha emerges as Devi Mahalakshmi and everyone greets her. Soon, Krishna makes a decision and tells her that Alakshmi can never get him. He will divide himself into two parts, one part will be with her and another will be with Radha. Mahalakshmi gets sad and leaves his hand. She mentions that she doesn’t want to win him from Alakshmi as she cannot see him in pain. Alakshmi gets happy. Krishna tells Alakshmi that she can never make sacrifices like Radha. Soon, Alakshmi realizes her mistake and gives Krishna’s hand in Radha’s hand and thanks to them both for teaching her the real meaning of love. She apologizes to Krishna and disappears for meditating. OR When Krishna meets Alakshmi, he gets countered by her negative energies and turns black but is saved by Radha's Vidya Lakshmi incarnation. After learning the true meaning of love, Alakshmi goes to meditate and tells that when the time comes she will be waiting for Krishna. OR Radha sent Krishn to Alakshmi. Later, Devi Parvati Made the Shakti of Ashta Lakshmi flow into Radha and tried to protect Krishn from the hands of Alakshmi. Mahalashmi Swaroop of Radha went to Krishna and took his hand in hers. But a few words of Krishn made Mahalashmi sad and she left Krishn to Alakshmi's hand. But Krishn was saved from Radha's Tyaag and therefore united with Krishn. Alakshmi understands the meaning of true love, feels guilty for whatever she did, and goes away. Krishn along with Radha and the whole Dwaraka rejoice. But, the ill effects of Alakshmi's presence remain. Hence, to remove them, Mahadev suggests that Krishn should perform the Ashwamedh Yajna, but Krishn refuses, as he would need someone as his ardhangini to sit with him, and he reckoned that would create fights. Mahadev summons Narada and gives him the task of making Krishn perform the yagya. Narad muni agrees and enters Dwaraka. At first, he meets Krishn and tries to make him understand, but Krishn refuses clearly. So, Narad muni persuades Radha to make Krishn perform the yagya. Radha tries to talk with Krishn, but Krishn declines her too. Hence, Radha tells Narad muni to bring all the Ashtabharya in Dwaraka, as only three were present in Dwaraka at the moment. Narad muni completes his task successfully. He challenges Krishn, that he will make him perform the yagya, which Krishn accepts happily. Radha feels that Rukmini is the correct choice for sitting with Krishn as his ardhangini in the yagya, as she is Krishn's first wife, but Krishn doesn't completely approve, saying that he has even more 7 queens, all with different qualities, so he can't act partial with rukmini. All the ashtabharyas finally gather. Radha tells her opnion that Rukmini is perfect to sit with Krishn as his Ardhangini. Krishn declares, that if all the 7 other queens don't have any problem, Rukmini can perform the yagya with him. But, all the others object this, claiming that they are equally eligible for being Krishn's ardhangini. Now, it is going to be shown that, Narad Muni is going to organise a Tulabharam Samaraoh (Weighing Scale Ceremony:)) where Krishna will sit on one side of the weighing scale and on the other side, all the wives of Krishna, i.e. The Ashtabharyas, are going to put all their gold and ornaments, in order, to win over Krishna. But, intrestingly, none of the wives are able to get the gold sufficient to weigh Krishna down. Then, Rukmini, comes with a Tulsi Leaf.....Stay Tuned, to know what happnes next! OR Narada then advice to perform Tulabham so Krishn real wife could be found. On weight machine, Krishn sat on one side and other queen have to put their Jewelry to win Krishn. The competition starts from youngest to oldest wife, no one could win Krishn. At last Rukmini kept a leaf of Tulsi, and Rukmini won Krishn and is considered to be Krishn's Real wife. Radha and Krishna happily celebrate Janmashtami and then Krishn gets ready to tell the truth to Radha about her actual identity and about Goloka the next day. But Shukracharya kidnaps Radha before she meets him and then with the help of Krishna's flute Radha finds her way to him and then the curse of 100 years separation from Krishn breaks finally and she remembers everything about Goloka and her true identity as a goddess and the consort of Krishn. Then the two happily reunite and become one forever. After they went to Goloka, Krishna tells Radha that they had to go to Dwarka because they could not mysteriously disappear from Dwarka. So they return to Dwarka after giving a feast to all the deities. Radha decides that they should return to Goloka now but Krishna refused to do so because he was bound by his duties (karma). So Radha decides to leave Dwarka because she cannot see Krishna's end in front of her eyes but finds Radha with the help of Goddess Parvati and tells her to go back to Dwarka or he will never meet him again. So Radha decides that she would go with Krishna but now they will not live as lovers. After returning to Dwarka, Radha tells Krishna that he would end all his sufferings. With the help of Shukracharya, Sambh tries to fulfill Gandhari's curse.
