    • RadioBOSS 2.1 (2005) - Software name changed to RadioBOSS. Released version 2.1, the first version to earn user interest.
    • RadioBOSS 2.8 (2007) - Added features designed for Internet radio stations.
    • RadioBOSS 4.0 (2009) - Software divided into editions (Express, Standard, Advanced), redesigned user interface, new major features added. Software became popular in its niche.[6]

    Technologies[edit]

Written in Delphi language with some C++ additions. Uses BASS library for audio playback. Works on Windows operating system.

Supports streaming to Shoutcast, Icecast, Windows media server; has its own streaming server.

Supports playback of MP3, AAC, WMA, FLAC, OGG, APE, OPUS, CD audio and other file formats.

    Development[edit]

Development of every major release is accompanied with open beta testing where anyone can take part in software development by proposing new ideas and finding bugs.[7]

    Uses[edit]

RadioBOSS is used by thousands of radio stations in 125 countries (as of 2017).[8]
