Radio Manila FM is the flagship FM radio station of The Radio Worldwide Webcasting in the Philippines. The station's studio is located at 295 Liduvina Building Mabini J-Rizal Mandaluyong City, Mandaluyong City.
History
Radio Manila FM is an Internet radio station operating in Metro Manila, Philippines. It was founded by a student from University of the Philippines who is also the owner of the station. He graduated from Bicol University College of Arts and Letters with a Bachelor of Arts in English and has work experience at Paradise FM 100.5, 90.3 One Radio Tabaco City, and the print company Bikol Reporter Regional Newspaper. After his studies, he went to Manila to search for jobs and continue his studies at the University of the Philippines in Diliman in the master of development communication program. In 2010, he started Radio Manila FM as an online radio and said, "I only possess ideas, but we have to survive and pray for the best results."
Objectives and Rate
To give companies an opportunity to advertise for a lower price (up to 80% less in cost) than other Metro Manila radio stations. "We want to introduce broadcast that people would realize; broadcast is really intended for the people equally." Many aspire to hear their companies on the air but they cannot due to financial costs.
Radio Manila FM will soon have frequencies in various provinces in the Philippines. Currently, the station is studying WiFi radio in Metro Manila, Philippines, also to lessen the burden of companies bombarded by FM stations with high ad rates.
OJT live broadcast worldwide
The station also gives opportunities for mass communication and communication arts students nationwide to be on air worldwide. This gives students a hands-on experience with broadcast radio.
