Radius is a professional 5-piece a cappella group from Chicago, Illinois. Radius tours nationally in the United States, and performs around 100 shows a year.
History[edit]
The group Radius was founded in 2020 by Gabe Schonman, Ben Boutell, Ethan Mooney, Wilson Smith, Jacob Friedmann, Dylan Melville, and Sam Baker. Originally a hobby and way to work on their individual skills, they quickly gained a small following on social media through virtual a cappella covers. The group got together in the summer of 2020 and decided to record their EP Silver Lining which released in 2021.
Radius became a full-time touring act by the end of 2022. As a band they have already performed in multiple states around the country. The band's current membership consists of founding members Gabe Schonman, Ben Boutell, Ethan Mooney, Dylan Melville, and Sam Baker.

Notable Awards and Performances[edit]
On Mar 1st 2022, Radius was nominated for 3 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards including "Best R&B Song", "Best TTBB College Arrangement", and "Best TTBB College Song".
Radius headlined the annual Milwaukapella Festival on Oct 22nd 2022.
Radius headlined the SingStrong International A Cappella Festival on Feb 4th 2023.[1]
Radius headlined the Louisville AcaFest on Feb 18th 2023.
