Rae Leigh (born 17 March 1988) is a country music singer and songwriter and musician.

Career[edit]

Rae first performed publicly at the DAG Songwriting retreat in Tamworth in 2016.

In 2020 she released her first single, entitled "All I Can Do" in support of the fires in Victoria. She then followed that up with further singles "All of Me", "Sleepless Nights" & "Saying Yes to Love". During the COVID lockdown Rae started a podcast called "Songwriter Trysts". She was awarded a $10,000 prize package from JMC Academy through the Logan City Council Live which resulted in the CMT listed single ‘Just Like That’

In 2021 she released a music video for "Find a Better Day" that was shown on CMT. She co-headlined with Adam Brand at the MMG 85th Fun Fair (Rosebery, Tasmania) and performed at the ANZAC Day Vietnam Veteran Reunion Event (Bairnsdale, Victoria)

In 2022 Rae Leigh featured on episode 4, season 2 of the hit NBC universal TV show ‘Young Rock’ with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as a Nashville singer in the 80’s covering Dwight Yoakam’s ‘Honky Tonk Man’. In the same week her single ‘Push Em Up Jill’ produced by Angus Gil hit number one on the Australian National country radio airplay charts.

Rae made her debut appearance at the postponed Tamworth Country Music Festival 50th anniversary. She was awarded a Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) grant for the development of her new single ‘Love Me’ to be released mid 2022 produced by Nashville based Australian producer Michael Flanders
