Raghdaa Zidan is an academic researcher, activist in the Syrian civil society, and a member of the Syrian Constitutional Committee.
In view of her efforts and activities in the academic and civic areas, she was selected to be part of the mini-constitutional committee from the civil society tier.
Early Life[edit]
She was born in the city of Al-Raheeba in the countryside of Damascus 1970, where she got her school education. After getting her university studies, she worked as a teacher then a school principal. She was forced to leave Syria in mid-2014 due to the security threats, and she has been residing since that time in Istanbul.

She previously held a number of jobs, including:
- Editor and author of articles in a number of newspapers, including Al-Syria Net[4], Hibr Press[5], and Noon Post[6]
- Director of Research Operations at Ain Alsharq for policy studies
- A lecture in a number of universities
- Editor at the Cultural Critic House in Damascus
