Raghuvanshi Clan

Raghuvanshi[1][2] or Raghuvansi is a clan (gotra of Jats) found in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
Origin
They are said to be descendants of Maharaja Raghu (रघु). [3]According to Bhagavata Purana, the ancestry of Raghu is as under:
Khatvanga → Dirghabahu → Raghu → Aja → Dasharatha → Rama + Lakshmana + Bharata + Satrughna.
Baliyan is a khap’s name, not a clan (gotra) name.
