Rahul Sharma is an Indian businessman, founder of Revolt Motors (India's First AI Motorcycle),[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] YU Televentures and the co-founder of Micromax Informatics.[8][9][10] He is married to actress Asin .

Business career[edit]

Rahul co-founded Micromax Informatics Limited in 2000.[11][12] and currently serves as its Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Product Strategy and Channel Sales since 1 April 2007.[13][14]

Education[edit]

Rahul holds bachelor's degrees in commerce (B.Com.) and mechanical engineering from University of Saskatchewan, as well as attended the Owner/President Management (OPM) program at Harvard Business School.

Personal life[edit]

Rahul Sharma is married to former actress Asin Thottumkal.[15] They have a daughter named Arin Sharma.[16]

Awards[edit]

  1. DataQuest[17] declared Rahul Sharma as the IT Person of the Year 2016.
  2. He has also won the 'Entrepreneur of the Year'[18] award at the Hello Hall of Fame event[19] in Mumbai, in 2016.
