rain (network operator)
Rain is a mobile telephone network operator in South Africa, a rebranding of Wireless Business Solutions (WBS).[1][2][3] Rain is 20% owned by Patrice Motsepe's African Rainbow Capital (ARC).[4] Rain inherits WBS spectrum licenses for 2x12MHz FDD and 10 MHz TDD spectrum in the 1800MHz band and 15MHz of spectrum in the 2600MHz band.[5] As of June 2017, they claim to have rolled out 750 LTE-Advanced base stations.[6]
