Rajnish Babbar (born 11 April 1993) is an Indian Punjabi industry actor, politician, and philanthropist. He is the Senior President of the Student Organisation of India (SOI) Doaba, Punjab, and a member of Shiromani Akali Dal.
Born and raised in a Sikh family in Jalandhar, he did his Bachelor's of Business Administration from Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, where he was elected as College President of Student Organisation of India. He then completed his Master's of Business Administration from Punjab Technical University and also took over the responsibility as Senior President of Student Organisation of India, for Doaba, Punjab region. It was during his college days that he initiated a successful campaign for Indian student rights and, in turn, inspired students and leaders for equal education rights.
As a youth icon of Punjab, Babbar travels to different rural and urban parts of Punjab and conducts hundreds of public and private events. He has an impact on young people (for example, education, housing, employment, leisure), and how young people engage in institutional politics. He is part of various youth organizations.
He worked as a community organizer in Punjab and pursued several philanthropic endeavors. He supports charitable organizations’ work to improve global health, education, and is vocal about humanitarian causes. Babbar led campaigns for easing poverty, expanding women's rights, and building religious and ethnic amity.
Babbar is known for his grit and bold nature and believes in giving back to society, noting Bhagat Singh as his inspiration.
Early life
Babbar was born in Jalandhar, on 11 April 1993. He did his Bachelor's of Business Administration from Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, where he was elected as College President of Student Organisation of India. He then completed his Master's of Business Administration from Punjab Technical University and also took over the responsibility as Senior President of Student Organisation of India, for Doaba, Punjab region. He also actively participated in various sports events at University.
Rajnish's major hobbies are horse riding, sports cars, and a great enthusiasm for physical fitness.
He is very warm and friendly by nature and appreciates spending time with other philanthropists.
Philanthropy

He has worked with multiple NGOs since 2014, which work towards providing support to underprivileged people across Punjab.
