Rakim Cleveland (born April 25, 1989) is an American professional mixed martial artist currently competing in the Light Heavyweight division of Professional Fighters League.[2] He has also fought for Legacy Fighting Championship[3] and Titan Fighting Championship.[4]

Early life[edit]

Before starting his career in mixed martial arts, he played college football at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa.[5]

Professional career[edit]

Rakim made his professional debut in November 2010. He fought Derrick Lewis, he lost the fight via armbar. He got his first profession victory against Richard White via keylock submission.[6]

PFL[edit]

Cleveland made his Professional Fighters League debut against Rashid Yusupov. He won the fight via TKO in the third round. [7] Yuspupov retired following the fight, after suffering a jaw injury.[8]

Rakim faced Maxim Grishin on August 2, 2018 at PFL 5.[9] He lost the fight via submission in the second round.
