Rakuten Trade (楽天トレード), is a Malaysian online equity broker. They officially launched their service on 18 May 2017 in Malaysia.[1]
Their Fintech platform gives investors the opportunity to open a trading account online and trade stocks in Bursa Malaysia.
Rakuten Trade Sdn Bhd is the result of a joint venture between Malaysia's Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad and Japan's Rakuten Securities, Inc.
Rakuten Trade currently offers investors two types of accounts – Cash Upfront Account and Contra Trading Account.
Rakuten Trade is housed at Kenanga Tower in Kuala Lumpur, the headquarters of Kenanga Group.
