Ramón Barthelemy is an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Barthelemy’s work has included studying the experiences of women in graduate physics and astronomy, LGBT persistence in the field of physics, and the motivations of students to pursue physics in Finland.[1]

Education[edit]

Barthelemy earned a B.S. degree in Astrophysics at Michigan State University,[2] then pursued graduate studies at Western Michigan University where he conducted research in the field of physics education research (PER).[2][3][4]

Honors[edit]

Barthelemy is a former Fulbright and American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science Policy Fellow.[5][6]

2021 - Doc Brown Futures Award[7][8] for excellence in contributions to physics education and excellent leadership
