Dr Ram "Kelly" Kalyan is the project manger of Unity 101, a local community radio station in Southampton, England, and has been for the past 17 years.
Kelly was educated in both Nairobi and England, and is a qualified electronics engineer working in sound and lighting. His passion for live events means that he often works on events around the City of Southampton, with a team of volunteers (a majority of these being from Solent University) [1].

- The Big Platinum Festival (2022) - A celebration in Southampton's Mayflower Park for Queen Elizabeth II[2]
- Om Shanti Om (2023) - a multicultural show hosted at MAST Mayflower Studios (part of Mayflower Theatre) which featured a cast of 75 from varying backgrounds[3]
- Unity 101 Community Awards (annual) - a celebration of members of the community in Southampton for "outstanding achievments in varying sectors of society": some guests including local councillors, the Lord Mayor of Southampton and the Mayor of Eastleigh [4]
