Ramkrishna Keny is an Indian Shiv Sena politician from Mumbai. He is a two-time chairman of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the municipal corporation of the city of Mumbai. He first became a corporator in 1973. Also, he held the position of the Chairman and the leader of the house. He had worked on several committees in the municipal corporation. Due to BMC ward reservations for women candidates, he couldn’t continue as a councillor in Dharavi ward. Next year, in 1990, he fought for MLA, Dahanu Lok Sabha constituency, however, was unsuccessful. Subsequently, he was successful again with BMC councillors, Worli ward in 2002. Worli BMC ward didn’t have reservation for women candidates but had reservation for ST candidates. His ST certificate came out to be invalid due to sub-caste. Later, he followed his passion and started Marathi Theatre and contributed to the Film Industry.

Besides, he is the founding member of the Koli Mahasangh. Koli Mahasangh looks after the interests and demands of the fisherman community of Maharashtra.
