Ran Bahadur Singh, India was the second MLA of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Third Legislative Assembly .[1] 1957 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election Basti District of Uttar Pradesh Harraiya_(Assembly_constituency) Participated in election on behalf of Congress from Haraiya (West) Legislative Assembly Constituency]]. [2] He was also a member of Provincial Congress Committee. He was also a freedom fighter and was jailed in the national movement of 1942[3]. Influenced by Gandhiji, he left his education midway and gave an important role in the freedom struggle. In 1947, National Inter College, Harraiya was started under his leadership and he opened many schools in Haraiya Vidhan Sabha while being an MLA.[3]
