"Rana Roo Sara" (Sinhala: රණ රූ සරා, lit. 'My Eyes Run Through Her Beauty') is a Sinhala language song by Yomal Senanayake which is also his debut single, It was released worldwide on May 09, 2023, by Folkverb Records. Written and produced by Yomal himself[1], the track combines elements of Indian pop which are matching with the lyrics. The song was also written by Yomal and the lyrics narrate about a teenager's feelings about his beautiful crush. The lyrics are written as an old Sinhala poem using first-person narrative method.

Yomal Senanayake began writing and composing the song in November, 2023 and it was completed in January, 2023. Yomal premiered the song to a group of music producers at a workshop held by "AudioZone SL" at theNational Library Auditorium in Colombo on March 12.
Music Composition[edit]
"Rana Roo Sara (රණ රූ සරා)" is a midtempo Indian Pop song that features sitar, santur and flute. The song has a length of four minutes and 3 seconds and a 16 seconds intro. The song ends with an aalap. It is performed in the key of D major with a tempo of 85 beats per minute. Following artists were joined this composition.[2]

Music video (Cancelled)[edit]
The official music video was planned to be released on February, 2023, on YouTube. It was directed by Supun Amaranayake who also designed the title "රණ රූ සරා" on the album art.
