In 2011, he releases his first album "Randolf Jimenez Latin Jazz Project". Soon after that, he was referred as "The Venezuelan Groove".[3] [4]. Randolf incorporated the cajon set in jazz music in Venezuela, which includes a Peruvian cajon with different percussion and Drum kit elements[5].
In 2013, Jimenez moved to Toronto, Canada..[2] He has played in major festivals and venues like Toronto Centre for the Arts, The Opera House (Toronto), Harbourfront Centre, Glenn Gould Studio, Nathan Phillips Square, Yonge–Dundas Square among others. He has also participated as a composer for film scores. As an educator, Randolf has taught hundreds of students in different music academies.
