Rarin Thongma is a CEO and founder of Christina Grey Group Co., Ltd; and a CEO and Co-Founder of T Capital Technology Co., Ltd.
Career
Christina Grey Group
In 2012, at the age of 27, Rarin founded Christina Grey Group[1], a fashion company that would be the parent company of O&B. Shortly after founding the company, Rarin, along with another partner, started a brand called Bagbook which started selling bags online via social media channels such as Facebook. In 2016, Rarin bought the shares from the partner to claim full ownership of the brand. Bagbook then became an official company and was rebranded to become O&B in 2017, which had more product offerings and branched out to also offer shoes. The meaning behind O&B was to imply “Other best friend”.[2]
While O&B started branching out into other product lines, Rarin came up with the idea to make shoes that were comfortable and affordable. It would later come to form the ‘Audrey Collection’. In 2017, after releasing a new model of shoes, the amount of shoes bought reached five million baht (US $160,000) per day.[3]
T Capital Technology
In May 2021, Rarin partnered with CTO Tony William to establish T Capital Technology. T Capital Technology creates the systems needed for Christina Grey Group to develop software for managing its retail operations, the sale of its merchandise and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), as well as lifestyle and fashion products.[4]
