Ravi Nitesh Srivastava (born 1981) is an Indian social worker and columnist at Daily Times- Pakistan and regular contributor with various others newspapers/portals.[1][2][3][4][5] His main areas of Work is Peace and Human Rights, through ground activism and writing.
Early life[edit]
Ravi Nitesh Srivastava was born on 16 August 1981. He is Graduate (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering and Post Graduate (M.Tech.) in Gas Engineering. Also had PG Diploma in Human Rights.[6]
Career[edit]
He is core member of Save Sharmila Solidarity Campaign, a nationwide protest to highlight the cause of Irom Chanu Sharmila.[7] He had been featured as 'Ambassador of Harmony' by Asian Age.[8] His co-authored an e-book with Devika Mittal, published by Amazon.[9] He is one of the over 200 concerned citizens of Indian and Pakistani have called for peace, insisting on the need for a ‘un-interrupted and un-interruptible’ dialogue to resolve all issues while maintaining peace and civilised bilateral relations. [10] Oxford Human Rights Hub (The Faculty of Law), University of Oxford published a article on his work on Indo-Pak fishermen.[11] His role of activists and media in AFSPA.[12] He was attended a seminar in Faizabad, at discussion on ‘Terrorism is the biggest threat to humanity’ organized at the Press Club Faizabad by Manav Ekta Manch in 2016.[13] He was also invited by TEDx event using the TED conference to talks about how Indo-Pak conflict affects people in both countries and how communication can help solve this problem.[14]
