Rchid Bidak was born in Essaouira in 1972. He studied biology and geology at the University of Meknes. After graduating, he began his career as a French teacher before devoting himself to writing novels.[1][better source needed]
Literary career[edit]
Rchid Bidak published his first novel, Mystical Sparks, in 2020. The book tells the story of a young man named Mustapha, a science student on a quest for spirituality and identity. After experiencing difficult times in his life, Mustapha turns to religion, facing moral dilemmas and choices between religion and science, as well as love and duty.[1]
The novel explores themes such as the search for the self, the spiritual quest, and moral conflicts. Bidak's writing style focuses on the portrayal of characters' emotions and feelings. Rooted in Moroccan culture, "Mystical Sparks" addresses issues of religion and spirituality in Moroccan society.[non-primary source needed]
