Rear Task Manager is a Windows Task Manager analogue. It’s in 5-6 languages[1]. It has been released on January 20, 2018.
History
Task manager ideas have been in Nuclear Group since around 2016 (after Helpium released). Then the company planned to release another program, but did not release it. Then, in 2017, the ideas were shelved.
In 2018, the company founder started building Rear Task Manager around January 19-20. The name came from the English word "near" (alias to "next to"), but with "n" replaced. It’s unknown where the "Task Manager" words came from.
On January 20, 2018, the program was released with its own website. The program is downloadable without installers.
Look
It looks different compared to the original Task Manager. The numbers with the percent symbol on the "Performance" dialog are written in another font (according to Resource Hacker, actually a bitmap). What is shown on the screenshot is the early (or current) interface of the program. On the developer’s laptop, the "Windows" menu is not appearing.
