Rebecca Emily Ryder ; born 8 August 2001)[2] is an English comedian, youtuber, musician and filmmaker. Rebecca started off as a Youtuber in 2013 at the age of 11. [3] Rebecca, better known online as Pipsta specialises in real-world parodies, pop culture compilations, dark satire and slapstick comedy. In late 2019 it was announced via Instagram that she was working on an album. She has already produced music under the name "Air Of Omega" [4] however this time she wanted to start fresh and under her own name. On the 1st May 2020, her first album was released on all major streaming services. She has since announced via her Instagram stories that she has plans for a comedy album with similar humour to her own channel however no further information has been released since.
Rebecca has had a great interest in film and tv as a child and started doing photography in 2016. [5] She studied film and tv production at South Devon College and recently graduated although her final year was cut short due to the COVID 19 Pandemic meaning schools were required to close. [6] She hopes to study TV production in September at the University of Gloucestershire.
Although still studying Rebecca has had some experience in the film and TV industry when she was approached by Queen guitarist Brian May who asked for her to create a lyric video for the band he mentors, Kings Daughters. ref name=newsarticle>https://www.nme.com/news/music/queens-brian-may-teams-up-with-london-band-kings-daughters-on-new-track-get-up-2647030</ref> The video and song were a success with the band reaching number 20 ref name=imdb>https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12551672/?ref_=nm_knf_i4</ref> in the UK charts. ref name=itunescharts>http://www.itunescharts.net/uk/artists/music/kings-daughters/songs/get-up-feat-brian-may/</ref>
