Competition Marches[edit]

Preview Of Champions[7][edit]

Every year in late September, the Redlands High School Marching Band hosts a fundraiser called the Preview of Champions. It invites high school marching bands from southern California to present their halftime shows in a non-competitive environment prior to the competitive season. It was held at the Riverside Community College stadium every year, but starting in 2008, the band uses the high school's new 7.5 million dollar stadium. The competition features over 20 southern California marching bands. It also features the award-winning RCC Marching Tigers to close off the show each year. It is not counted towards SCSBOA records, but gives the chance to let the bands play a performance to see what they need to work on before the real competitions start.

  • Competition open to public
  • Premium stadium seating
  • Snack bar available
  • Programs available

Colorguard[edit]

The colorguard performs with the RTMB at all field competitions and parades. They spin, twirl, and toss flags into the air. The colorguard started working with sabers and rifles in 1998.

The colorguard adds the theme and color to the marching band shows, as the members dance around the band with their equipment. Their uniforms vary year to year to match the theme of the show design.

Uniforms[edit]

Latest Uniforms debuted in the 2022 Redlands Christmas Parade:

- Black trousers pants

- Black/Navy Blue/White top with Navy Blue sleeves and Navy Blue/White side skirt

- Navy Blue/White/ Black Shako hat with Black/White feather plumes

- Flat Black marching shoes with long black socks

- Black gloves.
