Reef Station is an unincorporated community in Kings County, California.[1] It is located 8 miles (13 km) south-southwest of Avenal,[2] at an elevation of 558 feet (170 m),[1] near the junction of California State Routes 33 and 41.
Climate
This region experiences warm (but not hot) and dry summers, with no average monthly temperatures above 71.6 °F (22.0000 °C). According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Reef Station has a warm-summer Mediterranean climate, abbreviated "Csb" on climate maps.[3]
