Reet Poudel is a Nepalese psychiatrist and sexologist.[1][2] He completed his MBBS from Kathmandu University and MD in Psychiatry from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He then completed his one year Fellowship in Psychosexual Medicine from JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research. He currently works as a consultant in Psychiatry and Sexual Medicine and is an assistant professor at Nepalgunj Medical College, Kohalpur, Nepal. He is Nepal’s first Sexologist with an MD Psychiatry and Fellowship degree.[1]
He started the first clinic in Nepal specifically dedicated to sexual health and human sexuality named 'Sexual Wellness Clinic', which provides medical care and support for various sexual health related issues and problems. This clinic was started in Nepalgunj Medical College and provides services on a fixed day basis.[1]
He has published various scientific journal articles and book chapters on psychiatry and sexology.[3][4]
