Wycherley international School - Gampaha formally known as Regent International College has now branched out to providing an Internationally recognized Cambridge Curriculum for students in the Gampaha District. Wycherley International School has been in the field of Primary and Secondary education for more than three decades in Colombo. It is committed to building an Internationally Accredited Centre in the Gampaha District providing the World recognized Cambridge Education system. The School is located in the heart of Gampaha with easy access from key areas in the Gampaha district. Wycherley International School will be the First and Only Comprehensive Centre in the Gampaha District providing the Cambridge Curriculum from UKG (Year 1) – A/levels. Located in a three-acre salubrious campus holding a purpose-built infrastructure the school consists of up to date Libraries, Science & Computer Laboratories, a 25-meter Swimming Pool, Basketball & Netball Courts and Cricket pitches ensuring a combination of world recognized Education coupled with a broad range of extra-curricular activities for an all-rounded education.
Regent International College is an Edexcel Approved Examination center to conduct all Edexcel OL/ AL examinations in Gampaha.[1]

Houses[edit]
When a student joins the school, he or she is allocated into one of the four houses, APOLLO, ATHENA, PEGASUS and TRITON. The names of the houses are from Greek legends-traditions that go down centuries in history. A child continues to remain in that house up to the time of leaving school. If a sibling joins the school subsequently, he or she is put into the same house.Swimming Meets and Athletic Meets are run as House contests, along with points being accumulated for academic achievements. The Overall Challenge Shield for the best House is awarded at the Prize Day. Inter house fixtures are worked out for many sporting events like Cricket, Basketball and Badminton. The House Committees comprising House Captains, Athletic Captains and the Swimming Captains are appointed for each House. All four House Committees, though they run a competition with each other, also work in unison on common projects. The colours of the houses are as follows.
