Characters[edit]

Style[edit]

Tin King is a mixture of a remnant visual from Cartoon Network animations, such as Gravity Falls, and script and clothes reminiscent of Akira, which creates a conflict for those who know the two halves.[3] It contains engaging characters. Another very interesting detail is that despite its structure it is very similar to that of Boku no Hero Academia, because we have a structure in which the supporting characters are more charismatic than the protagonist José. Another important thing is the character design, since each one has its own unique design. There are inspirations in several of the characters, at no time do we see them as a copy. Jeff was able to employ a unique identity when designing King of Tin.[4]

Origin[edit]

Rei de Lata was developed from many ideas that the author had for 10 years.

Criticism[edit]

On the website of the Dome of Thunder, it is said that art "gives a steam punk design, something retro, but technological. Not to mention that these colors give quality to the characters as an example of José: his red clothes, very associated with anti-heroes , like Kratos, Hellboy, Gaara and more recently Deadpool. [...] Another important detail is the character design, since each one has its own unique design. As much as it is possible to see inspirations in several of the characters, in no time we see them as a copy. Jeff managed to employ a unique identity when designing King of Tin. His art is easily identifiable to anyone who knows it. " The website also comments on the characters, saying that most of the Brazilian works, the secondary characters are poorly developed, however, in Rei de Lata," Rei de Lata manages to create several captivating characters with backgrounds without making the story expository or running away from main plot. Every character has his moment, despite José being the main character and protagonist, the one who moves the plot. Jeff holds several popularity contests to find out which character the audience likes best. "[4]
