Rekik Bekele was born into the family of Seven meaning she had five brothers and one sister. her mother's name is Elfenesh Entele, while her fathers name is Bekele Ayele.[2]
Education
Rekik Bekele completed her primary schooling at Mekan Hiwote School, and proceeded to attend Etege Menen School where she completed her High school and later obtained Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering from Addis Ababa University in the year 2008.[2][3]
Carreer
Rekik Bekele is a board member of the Ethiopian-Solar Energy Development Association and also the founder of Green Scene Energy PLC. in the year 2014, Rekik Bekele started the RK Renew Energy, a company that manufactures efficient, ceramic cook-stoves and solar lights for refugee camps, before she later launched Green Scene Energy PLC after two years.[3]
