Mhidini Moussa, known professionally as Rekman Seller is a Mahoran singer, songwriter and performer.[1][2]

Biography[edit]

Rekman Seller born on 11 August 1995 in Kani Keli (Mayotte) from Mayotte parents.

In 2009, he started singing with his brothers then took part in the Seller Dream group.[3]

In 2013, the artist left Mayotte for his studies He performs on stage with music in Shimaoré, to highlight his native language[4] and to become the ambassador of Mahorese music in metropolitan France.

Then in 2015, he returned to Mayotte.[4]  He then writes Waho Lover, which gives him an important reputation in Mayotte and a million views on YouTube.[4]  In November 2016, her collaboration with Goulam Nyora Mbili, sung in French and Comorian, quickly became an online success.

In 2017, he was elected "Best artist from Mayotte" during the Voices of the Indian Ocean ceremony in Saint-Denis-la-Réunion.[5] It is also nominated in the category "best audiovisual production of the Indian Ocean.[6]
