Relative Race is an adventure reality game show centered around discovering family history. Four teams take a 10-day journey across the US to discover new relatives and compete for a $50,000 grand prize.[1] The show is produced by BYUtv and Lenzwork. Relative Race has premiered seven seasons on television, with each season featuring unique locations and challenges.

2017 3 1 A 90-minute season premier kicks off from Washington, DC, as four teams embark on the journey of a lifetime to complete challenges, find family, and win $50,000. The teams discover a new twist in travel plans, make unexpected family connections, and uncover a mysterious first-place prize.
2 Extreme challenges come into play as the teams navigate through different parts of the country. Most significantly, a memory challenge proves costly for three of the teams.
3 Michael and Dylan get lost in an escape room, Troy and Nicole confront wildfires, and one team begins to separate from the pack. The mysterious gold coin continues to show up and baffle the teams, and a face in a puzzle has all four teams scrambling to find relatives.
4 A darts challenge takes hand-eye coordination to a new level, a UPS driver helps Michael and Dylan stay on course, and Troy meets a relative who provides shocking information about his personal quest to find his father.
5 Pumpkin-carving, joke-telling, and foreign foods send the competitors into a frenzy. Troy meets Wonder Woman, Michael finds a like-minded relative, and one team now has a target on their backs.
6 Blindfolds and clay sculpting put the teams' artistic talents to the test, and a sudden rule change makes navigation even harder. Michael's relative shows him a family picture that changes everything, and Troy finally finds an emotional answer to his biggest family mystery.
7 As routes intersect on both coasts, challenges put the teams face-to-face. Michael continues the search for his mother, and Rebecca makes her most emotional connection yet.
8 Troy and Nicole act their way out of a tricky challenge, Michael meets someone that will change his life forever, and now that three of the teams have two strikes, football could be the difference between moving on or heading home.
9 Hockey, surfing, and bocce ball all play a role in who goes on to compete for $50,000. And with only three teams remaining, a critical navigation error could send another team packing.
10 The remaining teams compete for the grand prize of $50,000.
2018 4 1 Join four new teams as they race to find relatives! Season 4 kicks off with a unique kicking contest at Wake Forest University, and one team discovers a deadly secret from their past.
2 A new challenge this week gets all four teams wet, and three teams uncover revealing events that define their past.
3 One team discusses going home after all the teams struggle with a particularly difficult challenge, and Preshious celebrates her birthday with her newfound family!
4 Emotions run high as one team is eliminated and another team gets sick and may not be able to continue.
5 Team Black narrowly avoids disaster, another team meets a brother for the very first time, and fuzzy dice make a comeback!
6 Team Red discovers a military connection, while Team Black plays on the water and Team Green sees a cherished family photo for the very first time.
7 Team Black connects with their inner-selves, and all teams test their archery skills in order to find more relatives and earn immunity.
8 Even with immunity, Team Black is under pressure as they race to earn a coveted prize. Teams Red and Green also race to avoid another strike and find more family.
9 Team Red goes hunting with hatchets, Team Green meets their most important relative yet, and unfortunately, two teams face elimination.
10 Philadelphia is the backdrop of this week's challenges as the final two teams race to solve riddles, earn $50,000, and be crowned champion of Relative Race!
5 1 Four new teams take off from St. Louis with a stunning twist at the starting line. Chonta discovers her southern slavery roots. Maria sees a shocking family tree. Marcus learns Arkansas is a state, and takes part in a family dance-off.  The twin sisters start a texting war they can’t finish.
2 Teams Red and Blue battle heavy rain and compete head to head in a building block challenge. Kaley and Kristin go back to driving school with a relative. Demetrius falls to his knees after meeting the first blood relative on his fathers side. Keith connects with his father’s side of the family.
3 All the teams must “smell” their way to victory competing in a blind folded challenge. A door opens, and Maria’s life is changed forever. Kaley and Kristin connect with their family at a recording studio. Marcus meets his mom’s brother for the first time.
4 The brothers from L.A. get a geography lesson and throw pottery for the first time. All teams carefully balance their way through a challenge. Demetrius discovers another relative on his dad’s side, and Maria attends a very special surprise birthday party.
5 The teams show off their singing abilities. Strange paper airplanes are made to pop through a challenge.  Marcus meets the person who linked him to his father. Elizabeth discovers her dad’s side of the family. Team Black finds out twins run in their family.
6 Immunity is on the line.  A hamster-like challenge has the teams rolling in all directions. Chonta’s surprised by an emotional cousin. Team Red plays hockey, Team Green camps and learns to wakeboard, and Team Black learns baseball.
7 The teams’ art skills are on display in a challenge. Elizabeth’s emotions are tested with a close relative. The twins continue their journey and meet a key relative in the search for their dad. Marcus connects with his dad’s side.
8 Team Green gets off to a rough start when Marcus's dad shows up late to pick them up. While they set off toward Vegas, Team Red heads toward a relative that will help Elizabeth understand more about her maternal side.
9 An audible memory challenge stumps the teams. Demetrius meets a key paternal relative. Marcus and his dad share a heartwarming discovery. A trip to Day 10 is on the line for two teams with two strikes!
10 After 9 days on the road, the remaining teams test their challenge skills in the desert southwest for the Season 5 championship.
2019 6 1 The race begins for four new teams at Virginia International Raceway. J.D. discovers vital information about his family's history. Raymond and DeShae meet their first biological relatives. Anitra gets one step closer to finding her parents.
2 A costly penalty puts three teams at a complete standstill. A medieval challenge launches the teams into a fierce battle. Anitra finally discovers her family name. Chris meets an important cousin. Raymond meets a close cousin and gets some important answers about his mother.
3 A hilarious challenge tests the teams' toddler translation skills. Team Green gets turn-by-turn directions from a relative. Jenn uncovers a link to her grandparents. Ray finds out about his brother. Anitra makes a life-changing discovery about her past. And DeShae learns about her last name.
4 A physical challenge pushes all the teams to their limits. Anitra's family continues to grow. Ray meets an important relative with connections to his mother. And J.D. discovers his closest relative yet.
5 DeShae discovers a special bond with her uncle. The teams compete in a sumo suit challenge. Anitra meets her closest family member yet. Ray learns incredible details about his mother's legacy.
6 A surprise envelope changes everything for all four teams. An emoji movie-title challenge is a breeze . . . for some of the teams. J.D. meets a campsite full of relatives. Ray gets more information about his long-lost brother.
7 With immunity in hand, Team Blue plays a new game. Anitra meets a close connection to her father. DeShae finally solves a mystery. Jenn learns more about her great-grandfather. And Ray meets the person he has always wondered about.
8 J.D. meets a relative that changes his life. DeShae finds the name on her hospital bracelet. Anitra discovers someone very close to her mother. The teams are challenged to see if they can think alike.
9 The end of the race is in sight, and only three teams are still in the running. A unique challenge puts the teams' smarts (and stomachs) to the test. Raymond gets answers he's waited for his whole life. Anitra has an emotional reunion.
10 On the final day of the challenge, two teams go head-to-head in a racing challenge at SuperCharged Speedway in Montville, CT. They'll have to use their physical skills and mental knowledge of the show to take home the grand prize of $50,000!
