RemotePass is a privately-held company headquartered in Boston, United States of America. The company provides hiring, payroll, and compliance services for companies and contractors[2].

History[edit]

RemotePass was founded in 2019 by Kamal Reggad and Karim Nadi[3]. The founders met at an event in Dubai and decided to establish the company[4]. Initially, RemotePass focused on providing a business travel platform to help companies centralize their travel arrangements and expenses in the MENA region. Kamal Reggad had prior experience in founding an e-commerce platform called Hmizate in Casablanca, Morocco, in 2011[5][6].

Products[edit]

RemotePass offers a platform designed to simplify the hiring, payroll, and compliance processes for remote independent contractors and employees[7]. Its primary product is an application for remote teams, a mobile application that provides a centralized solution for managing contracts, payments, benefits, and finances for remote workers[8]

Funding[edit]

In December 2021, RemotePass successfully raised funds in a pre-Series A1 funding round[9]. The round was led by BECO Capital, with participation from Wamda Capital, Khawarizmi VC, Flat6Labs, Wealth Well, and a syndicate of Saudi Arabian investors[10]. This investment allowed RemotePass to expand its operations.
