Remzi Gökdağ (born 1968 in İstanbul) is a Turkish journalist and writer. He is known for his investigative news about Istanbul. He is the author of four non-fiction books[1] and received journalism awards. He has been working as a freelance journalist in different countries since 1997[2]

Career[edit]

Remzi Gökdağ studied journalism at Istanbul University. He started his career at Cumhuriyet Newspaper in 1989. He studied web design and photography at University of California Riverside in 1997. He worked in Moscow, Russia as a foreign reporter for Radikal and Kanal D between 1998 and 1999. He returned to California in 1999 and continued working as a journalist including the position of editor in chief at the USA Turkish Times. His weekly journals about daily life in the US have been published on newspapers and magazines in Turkey. He moved to Zurich, Switzerland in 2009, created several online publishing platforms. He's been working as a freelance journalist in Dubai, UAE since 2018.[3]
