Rena Striegel is an American succession planning strategist and business advisor. She is the president of Transition Point Business Advisors, a firm focused on advisory services for family-owned and agricultural businesses navigating ownership and leadership transitions.[1][2]
Education
Striegel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central College in Pella, Iowa, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.[3][4]
Career
Striegel works with multi-generational businesses on succession and continuity planning, with an emphasis on communication practices, role clarity, leadership development, and coordinated advisor involvement.[5]
In December 2025, she announced a national initiative described as a structured, step-by-step framework intended to help family-owned businesses approach succession planning with greater clarity and coordination across technical and interpersonal considerations.[6]
Striegel has also expanded service offerings aimed at preparing next-generation leaders for ownership responsibilities, including financial literacy, governance, and values-based decision-making, as well as earlier inclusion of successors in strategic discussions.[7]
In early 2026, Striegel introduced a training series described as helping families define expectations, clarify roles, and strengthen communication ahead of ownership transition.[8]
