Rene Regis
Rene Regis (14 October 1973 – 25 March 2019), was a former Saint Lucian footballer, who played club football in England including Chippenham Town, Salisbury City (team player of the year in the 2005–06 season), Metropolitan Police and Dulwich Hamlet among others. Regis represented the Saint Lucia national football team in numerous international matches. He went on to score the only goal in St Lucia's World Cup Qualifying match against Suriname.
Regis died on 25 March 2019 following a short battle with cancer.
