Reno Jean Daret III

Reno Jean Daret III (born 13 February 1948) is an American entrepreneur and philatelist. In 1983 he began the Fighting Tiger Music Company, which distributed recordings for Louisiana State University until the business was sold in 2006. In 2010 he founded the New Orleans Postcard Club (later the New Orleans Postcard Museum), home to a collection of over 12,000 New Orleans and Mardi Gras-themed postcards.[1][2]
In 2020 Daret ran in the 2020 United States Senate election, winning 3,954 votes.[3]
Lineage[edit]
Daret is a member of the General Society of the War of 1812, the Sons of the American Revolution and a member of the Society of the Founders of New Orleans as of 2021. Reno has visited all seven continents. Reno has visited over 100 countries and island groups and is a member of the Traveler's Century Club.
