"Reset Robotics" is a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team based in Alpharetta, Georgia. Their team number is #6325. Reset Robotics was founded in June 2016 by a group of high school students and recent graduates from a previous FRC team, Gravity Loop[1]. On August 25, 2016, Reset Robotics was announced publicly in a tweet[2]. However, Reset Robotics did not release their team number until October 2016. After the official FIRST Robotics Competition twitter account followed the team on October 16, 2016, Reset Robotics began to receive more widespread recognition, gaining over 1000 Twitter followers by the time of the 2017 Kickoff. [2] On February 22, 2017, Reset Robotics released a YouTube Video revealing their 2017 robot named "Morpheus"[1]. After competing in 3 competitions, including the State Championship where Reset Robotics won the Rookie All-Star Award[3], the team released another YouTube Video, revealing the second version of their robot, named "Morpheus 2.0". [1] Soon after this, Reset Robotics competed at the FIRST Championship in Houston, Texas. During their competition season, Reset Robotics gained 4 awards and competed at 4 events[3]. During the following offseason, Reset Robotics competed at the Georgia Robotics Invitational Tournament and Showcase, where the team ranked 3rd and captained the finalist alliance[3]. Reset Robotics is currently registered to compete in the 2018 season at the Peachtree District Gainesville Event[4] and the Peachtree District Columbus Event[5].
