History and Expansion
Resonance Hyderabad was established in 2017 as the regional division for the Telugu states of the Kota-based Resonance Eduventures.[1] The institution is managed by the Maiden Drop Edu Foundation under the leadership of Managing Director Purnachandra Rao Narra.[2]
Since beginning operations in 2018 with campuses in Madhapur and Patancheru, the network has expanded to over 34 locations.[3] Recent infrastructure developments include the 2025 inauguration of a campus in Nallagandla by the Telangana Director General of Police,[4] and the establishment of a regional hub in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.[5]
Academic Programs and Infrastructure
The institution provides an integrated academic model that combines the TGBIE (TGBIE) syllabus with preparatory coaching for national competitive examinations such as JEE and NEET.[6]
Technological Integration
In August 2025, the institution partnered with Samsung-backed edtech firm TagHive to implement RESO-SMART.[7] The system utilizes AI-powered clicker technology for real-time classroom assessment and provides data-driven performance analytics for the student population.[8][3]
Kukatpally Campus
The Kukatpally cluster serves as a primary regional center. In February 2026, the facility expanded to include a dedicated school wing for Grades Nursery through 9.[9] The school division utilizes a foundation-based curriculum intended to prepare students for national-level Olympiads and the NTSE.[10]
Events and Community Engagement
Career Clarity Conclave & Expo
On February 1, 2026, the institution organized a "Career Clarity Conclave" at the JNTU Auditorium.[11] The event featured technical sessions and panels with representatives from the IIIT-H, BITS Pilani, and GITAM to discuss post-secondary career pathways.[12][13]
ResoFEST and Sports
The annual "ResoFEST" is a cultural and academic gathering held at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium.[14] Past guests of the festival have included former Chief Justice N. V. Ramana and Olympic medalist Karnam Malleswari.[15][16] The festival marks the conclusion of inter-branch sports prelims in cricket, volleyball, and chess.[17]
Academic Performance
The institution's student intake is partially facilitated through the "ResoFAST" entrance and scholarship test.[18] According to reports in regional media, the institution recorded 63 students scoring above the 99th percentile in the 2026 JEE Main (Session 1).[19][20]
Awards and Recognitions
- Young Entrepreneur of the Year (2024, 2025): Awarded to Purnachandra Rao Narra at the Hybiz TV Business Excellence Awards.[21]
- Academic Excellence Award: Recognition from regional outlets such as HMTV for selection rates in national technical institutes.[22]
