Restream
Restream.io is a live video platform that enables you to create videos and multi-stream them to platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Periscope, and Facebook.[1][2] The platform was founded in 2015 in Vinnytsia, Ukraine,[3] by Alex Khuda and Andrew Surzhynskyiit.[4] It can also host private websites and pages.[5]The platform can stream to multiple sites at the same time.[6][7]
In 2020, it helped Red Cross and WHO to reach out to people during the COVID-19 pandemic by making its services free to the charities.[8]
In 2024, two film distributors were charged in a Russian court for allowing the platform (alongside Kinopoisk) to be used in Russia to promote LGBTQ rights.[9] In the same year, Taylor Swift used Restream.io in a 15-minute video on YouTube which was immediately removed after the event.[10]
