Resurrection is the debut mixtape by american rapper Wild Wes. The mixtape was released on May 2nd of 2020 by CRZRecords.
Background[edit]
Tracks For Da Ages was supposed to be Wild Wes' final studio album. Wild Wes released a single called New Ice on March 16th of 2020 and in the description he put "I'm back." Wild Wes went on Twitter on March 30th of 2020 and told his followers that he'd reveal the cover for Resurrection plus the tracklist on April 1st 2020 at midnight. The cover was made by MC Icy. On April 17th on Twitter, Wild Wes released a 13 second snippet of the third single of the album, Chasin' Bucks. In the tweet, Wild Wes said "5/1." Revealing that the track would release on May 1st.
Singles[edit]
There were a few singles released before the album released. New Ice, which was released as the official Comeback from Wild Wes and to end the Flex Entertainment beef, released on March 16th of 2020. Racks On Me, the lead single, released on March 29th of 2020. He verified this on Twitter. Chasin' Bucks released on May 1st of 2020. Then Run It Back, the final single before the album released, released on June 5th of 2020.
