Revix is a digital currency investment platform. The company has created cryptocurrency index funds like investment products that represent ownership in a range of cryptocurrencies otherwise referred to as cryptoassets. Revix actively seeks to market its services to South Africa, the UK, EEA countries and Canada.[2]

Revix's cofounder, Sean Sanders was recently profiled by Global Crypto as a top blockchain founder in Africa.[3] Sean also spoke on behalf of Revix at the World Economic Forum Africa 2019.[4]

History[edit]

Revix initially began as an attempt to create a cryptocurrency hedge fund in South Africa.[5]

This project was abandoned due to a lack of regulatory clarity, and founders Sean Sanders and Louis Buys instead decided to found a cryptocurrency exchange.

In 2019 Revix entered into an 11 million rand deal with JSE listed company Sabvest, which purchased a 30% stake in the company.[6][7]
