Revolution Radio is an independent contemporary hit radio station in Northampton, United Kingdom, broadcasting local programming. The radio station went live in August 2021 on 96.1FM & Online. The studios are located in the town centre of Northampton which were opened shortly before going live.
Revolution Radio Limited is a not for profit organisation based at their studios in the centre of Northampton which has been granted a community radio license to serve Northampton by Ofcom. Revolution Radio plays a mix of music styles but focuses on contemporary hit music, also features local news, events, community information and discussion. Members of the community are involved with making the programmes. Revolution Radio's Directors bring a wealth of radio experience to the station. The management team includes experienced radio professionals alongside members of the local community.
