Reza Fekri (Persian: رضا فکری; born 24 May 1992) is an Iranian opera singer.[1]
With singing as a tenor soloist in Tehran Symphony Orchestra, Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, Helikon Opera in Moscow and Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg (the most famous and largest opera in the world), as well as recording several operas and symphonic poems in the Naxos (German Company), he is one of the most active Iranian Classical singers at the international level.
Artistic Life[edit]
From the beginning, Reza Fekri was very interested in singing and as a child, he participated in all the school activities related to singing. He joined the school choir group in middle school and at the age of fifteen, when he was invited by his song teacher to the Tehran Symphony Orchestra's choir concert in Rudaki Hall, he became interested in classical singing and from that time he started music seriously. He first learned the music theory and solfege from Alireza Shafaghinejad and then classical singing and solfege with Loris Hovian. He also learned the clarinet from Akbar Mohammadi. From 2008 to 2015, Reza Fekri Singed in many Iranian choirs, such as the Tehran Symphony Orchestra Choir, TV Symphony Orchestra Choir, etc., and performed many Singing recitals at the same time.Reza Fekri (Persian: رضا فکری; born 24 May 1992) is an Iranian opera singer.[2]
In 2015, upon the return of Maestro Alexander Rahbari to Iran, Reza Fekri was selected as the tenor soloist of the Symphony Orchestra and performed in the concert of Carmina Burana and Alamdar.
In 2016, he did entrance exam of Antalya National Opera of Turkey and successfully passed the exam and was selected as the tenor soloist of Antalya Opera, but due to work visa problems, this collaboration was not completed
Since 2018, Reza Fekri's collaborations with Maestro Alexander Rahbari started again, and Reza Fekri's first piece called "Morshed" composed by Maestro Alexander Rahbari was published by the German company Naxos in the international market.[3]
After the success of the piece "Morshed" in the international market, the collaboration between Reza Fekri and Maestro Alexander Rahbari and the Naxos Company continued, and the result was the recording of the role of Xerxes in the Tragedy of the Iranians, the recording of the role of Isaac in the opera of Abraham, and the recording of West Eastern Divan Goethe. The recording of the So Spoke Zarathustra and parts of Shakespeare's poems were recorded, all of which will be published by Naxos Company. In 2019, as a tenor soloist, Reza Fekri performed Dvorak's Requiem with the Iran Philharmonic Choir for the first time in Asia and the sixth time in the world. In 2020, he released the music album "The Sharp Tongue Of Narcissi" composed by Hossein Kiumarsy with Zang Records Company to the international market
In March 2022, he was invited to Zagreb to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, and he performed the So Spoke Zarathustra, composed and conducted by Maestro Alexander Rahbari, in front of the people and political and cultural officials of Croatia in the Lisinski Hall of Zagreb.[4]
In 2022 and after Maestro Rahbari was chosen as the guest conductor of the Mariinsky Theatre (the largest and most famous opera in the world) directed by Valery Gergiev, Reza Fekri once again Singed a So Spoke Zarathustra, this time with the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra in St. Petersburg and in He performed against Valery Gergiev.
In 2022, he was invited by Dmitry Bertman, the manager of the Moscow Helickn Opera, to a Gala concert of the Helikon Opera, and he performed alongside the famous Russian soprano Olga Borodina and opera stars from five other countries. He sang a Je Crois Entendre Encore from Bizzet conducted by Valery Kiryanov.[5]
In the fall of 2022, he did entrance exam of the Music Academy of the University of Zagreb, and while the university accepted only 2 students, he managed to get accepted and is now a Singing student under the supervision of Professor Renata Pokupić at the Music Academy of the University of Zagreb.

Reza Fekri has a associate Degreein Economics and a bachelor's degree in Banking Accounting, and is currently a bachelor's and master's student in singing at the Music Academy of the University of Zagreb under the supervision of Professor Renata Pokupić.[6]
