"Rich and Blind" is a song by American rapper Juice Wrld.[1] It was released as a single on June 22, 2018.[2] The song is part of a 2-track EP entitled Too Soon.., which also included the single "Legends".
Background
The song is dedicated to late rappers XXXTentacion, who was murdered a day before the release of the track, and Lil Peep, who died of a fentanyl overdose in November 2017. The description of the official upload of the audio on YouTube reads "im lost :(".
Critical reception
Alex Zidel of HotNewHipHop said that Juice Wrld on the track "explores a different side of heartbreak than the one we've become used to from him" and said that he notes "that he doesn't really know where his own path will lead if he continues making the same life decisions."[3] Eric Skelton of Complex said that the song shares "a similar sentiment to the previous track, 'Legends.'"[4] Jasmina Cuevas of HipHopDX said that the track has a "somber vibe to it."[5]
