Richa Kohli

Richa Kohli (r-IH-ch-ah; born July 6, 1988) is an entrepreneur. She is the co-founder and CEO of TheraNow, a digital rehabilitation and interactive fitness company.[1]
Early life and education
Richa was born in India in 1988. She received her primary education under the Indian educational system in Jammu, India. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's in Physical Therapy from University of Jammu and Jamia Hamdard University. She also earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree while practicing as a Physical Therapist in Texas.
Career
After moving to Tyler, Texas, in 2015, Richa began her practice as a Physical Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility. In 2017, she co-founded a healthcare technology firm TheraNow, which quickly expanded to online physical therapy, Telerehab, clinical pathway management platform, and artificial intelligence-driven interactive fitness tools.[2] In 2020, her company offered a free service for people suffering from pain during the COVID-19 pandemic.[3] She oversaw TheraNow's institutional partnership with UT Health East Texas, a subsidiary of Ardent Health Services.[4]
Awards and recognition
In 2018, the 95th American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine awarded the "Most Innovative" technology award to TheraNow, presented by Richa Kohli.[5]
