Richard Peck, DTM, is the 2020–2021 Toastmasters International president. Prior to that, he worked in the network support division of AT&T. He earned an MBA in international business at University of Texas at Dallas. He is also a certified project management professional, and volunteers with Kiwanis and Lions Clubs International.[1] He was elected Toastmasters International Second Vice President in 2017[2], First Vice President in 2018[3], and President-elect in 2019.[4]
He has experience speaking in countries around the world.[5] One of his regular sayings is “A leader is not the center of attraction, but he should be the epicenter of action”.[6] He says leaders have three main elements that make up leaders: education, practice, and journey.[7]
