Richman (sandwich)
Richman (IPA: /rit͡ʃmæn/) is a kind of the Slovak fast food sandwich,[1] which is sell in Bratislava. Based on a large bun or other bread roll, which is almost full filled with mayonaise and usually with a bit of meat or other product like that, most commonly with Debrecen ham or other salami, ham, chicken meat, sometimes fish or cheese.[2][3] The filling is completed with grated cabbage,[2][3] sliced cucumber or other vegetable, possibly some kind of sauce. It is sell in the fast food stands similarly like kebab, hamburger or gyros.
The tradition of the Richman sandwich preparation starts in early 1990's in the fast food stand at Šafárikovo námestie in Bratislava.
