RideTo is a British online marketplace and developer of software for the motorcycle industry. RideTo was founded by James Beddows in 2016[1][2]booking for motorcycle training courses such as Compulsory Basic Training and Full UK Motorcycle Licence courses, as well offering an E-commerce store of motorcycle clothing and equipment.

History[edit]

RideTo was launched in June 2017, operating initially in London, UK. In 2018 the company began to expand across the UK[3][4]. In 2021 RideTo operates in more than 40 cities and towns across the UK with over 130 Partner Training Schools, providing motorcycle training for more that 20,000 new riders per year[5]. The RideTo marketplace was popular with scooter delivery riders when it first launched and quickly grew to meet the demand of food delivery start-ups such as Deliveroo, Stuart and Just Eat across the UK.

Connect MCT CRM[edit]

In 2019, the company released the first version of it's motorcycle instructor CRM software Connect MCT. The CRM product enables instructors to manage staff, courses and customers in one place. The software as a service product was the first free to use product in the UK motorcycle market.

Recognition[edit]

RideTo has been recognised for its growth, featuring in the Startups.co.uk Startup 100 list in 2018, 2020 [6] [7] and in 2021 ranked as the 21st more exciting Startup to watch in the UK[8]. As well as coverage on startup and industry blogs[9][10][11][12] and media campaigns with television business advisors such as Sarah Beeny [13] and Bobby Lane.
