Ridi Kurtezi
Ridi Kurtezi is an Albanian diplomat born in Tirana on May 12, 1974, and is currently serving his country as Ambassador to Montenegro.
Ambassador Kurtezi joined the Albanian Diplomatic Service in 1997, after graduating from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and the George Marshall Centre for Strategic Studies.
Since joining the Foreign Service, Ambassador Kurtezi has served his country in different positions, at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs in Tirana or in the diplomatic missions in Vienna, Qatar, and Madrid. During his long diplomatic career, he has served several times as Chief of State Protocol.
In 2010, Ridi Kurtezi was promoted to serve his country as Ambassador to the State of Qatar and later, in 2014, as Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain and non-resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, Andorra, and the World Tourism Organisation.
Ambassador Ridi Kurtezi speaks English, Russian, and Spanish fluently. He is married to Ina Kurtezi, and they are parents of Maja and Sven.
